The method

BaZi applied to your real life

BaZi is a system for reading the natal chart that has been refined for more than 1,000 years. It isn't Western astrology: it's a traditional symbolic framework calculated from your date and time of birth. It isn't scientifically validated — and I won't present it as if it were — but as a language for thinking about yourself it works: it gives structure and vocabulary to talk about the patterns that repeat, the environments that weigh on you and how you relate to others — especially as a couple.

Your natal chart data

Date and time of birth. From those two details the full BaZi chart is calculated — a symbolic combination that is unique to each date and time of birth.

Structure and profile analysis

I identify your dominant structure, the 10 behavioural profiles with their relative strength, and how they interact with your current situation — relationships, patterns that repeat or a pending decision.

Your personal report

A complete document: your natural profile and strengths, the patterns that repeat, your health according to the chart, the month-by-month reading of the current year and concrete, actionable recommendations.

The report

A reading that is structured, traceable and honest

The report doesn't claim to tell you who you are — no chart knows that. It offers you a structured mirror: an orderly way to look at your patterns, put names to them and decide for yourself what to do with them.

And since every statement is backed by a concrete detail from your chart and labelled by its level of certainty, you always know what is a fact and what is interpretation. No vague phrases, no magazine horoscope.

This is part of what the report puts on the table:

  • Your portrait according to the chart: the strengths and blind spots the tradition links to your structure — each one with the chart detail it comes from
  • What balances you and what wears you down, according to the tradition: your "Useful God", the element everything else in the reading hangs on
  • A hypothesis about why you keep stumbling over the same thing — and concrete proposals to work on the pattern
  • The areas to pay attention to in your health and energy, according to Chinese Medicine — guidance to take care of yourself, never a diagnosis

Every idea carries an honesty label: FACT (it's in the chart), CLASSICAL INTERPRETATION (the tradition says so), NUANCE (the schools don't agree) and NOT DETERMINABLE (the chart doesn't allow it to be stated).

Some people process the world in layers. They don't see decisions — they see the patterns behind them. They don't see conflicts — they see the root cause. I'm one of those people, and for years I couldn't put a name to it.

BaZi came to me as a system that gave names to what I already sensed. Reading my own chart, I recognised myself — and over the years I've learned to look at that recognition honestly too: I know psychology explains a good part of it, which is why I won't sell you the chart as a scientific truth. What it did give me, and still gives me, is a language: words and structure for what I couldn't name before.

I started out reading charts for friends and family — many charts, one at a time. And what I saw again and again was this: when someone stops to look at themselves calmly, with a text that puts names to their patterns, something shifts. The patterns stop being a fog. Decisions fall into place. The chart opens that way of looking; the work is yours to do.

I've spent eight years with BaZi. I don't lean on any brand or guru: I lean on the classical method, applied with rigour and with every statement backed by a detail from the chart.
